AUCKLAND - North

Shore Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

The church was established by three families sent by Emmanuel Church in 1984. The group included Pastor Stephen Turner and David Sterne. From these small beginnings, the church has grown to over 40 members and a Sunday morning congregation of over 100. Stephen makes annual visits to India and Sri Lanka to train and encourage church leaders. The church changed its name from North Shore Baptist Reformed Church in 2007.

AUCKLAND - East

Bays Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

This fellowship began meeting at Carey College, Panmure, as Tamaki Reformed Baptist Church on 30th September 2001. It became a fully constituted church on Sunday 11th August 2002, with Owen Griffiths and Michael Drake as elders. Its regular activities include a monthly youth bible study and monthly outreach at an old persons home. In August 2010 Rob Morton became the third elder, the church changed its name to Bays Baptist Church, and they began meeting in the current location.

AUCKLAND - Central

Emmanuel Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

Emmanuel was established in 1974, and exercises an extensive ministry to Malaysian and Singaporian students at the university and polytechnic. David Yan is the pastor. They have been instrumental in founding several Reformed Baptist churches including Shalom in Singapore, and North Shore in Auckland.

HAMILTON

Trinity Reformed Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

The church was established in 1980 under the leadership of David Sterne. Their first pastor was John Leevers (1981-1990), and the current pastor is David Marshall (1992-present). They have a small outreach to students at Waikato University. Each year they cooperate with the local Reformed Church in arranging an Easter Convention to promote the doctrines of grace. There is also an Sunday School ministry.

New Heights Reformed Baptist Fellowship
FRBCNZ Member Church

This fellowship began meeting in March 2006 with six core families, including Philip Hanson who studied at Masters Seminary in California and leads the work along with three other men who form the leadership team. They moved their meetings from the Keswick Convention Centre to the current location in 2011. Also in 2011 they undertook to support a church-planting venture in Tauranga (see their website for information).

PALMERSTON NORTH

Grace Reformed Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

This fellowship began meeting in February 2005 as a result of a couple of families seeking a faithful church committed to preaching and practising the Gospel. It was publicly constituted as a church in July 2006 with a plurality of elders, including Dafydd Hughes as Pastor, and was accepted into membership of the FRBCNZ in November 2006.

WELLINGTON

Gracenet Community Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

The church began when three families moved from South Africa with the express purpose of planting a church in Wellington. They began meeting publicly in March 2005 and within a year had a congregation of over 35 led by three elders, including their founding pastor, Greg Heasley. In August 2007 Mike Beck replaced Greg as the pastor. The church is active in street evangelism and runs an Online School of Theology.

CHRISTCHURCH

Grace Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

Grace Baptist Church began holding public meetings in February 1995, thereby becoming the first known Reformed Baptist church in the city since its founding in 1850. Their first pastor was Dafydd Hughes (1996-2006). Rob Harrod from Sydney, Australia, responded to the call to be the new pastor and was inducted on 9th February 2008.

TIMARU

Marchwiel Reformed Baptist Church
FRBCNZ Member Church

This Baptist Union church was pastored by Alfie Orr from Northern Ireland from 1986 to 1998. Over these years they came to a Reformed Baptist position and revised their constitution in line with their beliefs. John Leevers was the pastor from December 1998 to January 2007 and was succeeded by Grant Phillips. In 2010 Nick Clevely was called from St Hellena Island to pastor the church, with John and Grant continuing as elders.
