THE 1689 BAPTIST CONFESSION OF FAITH

The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith is the systematic summary of biblical teaching which forms the doctrinal basis of the Fellowship of Reformed Baptist Churches in New Zealand. While the title may suggest that the Confession was first published in the year 1689 it was actually published earlier but was adopted by a General Assembly of Baptist Congregations meeting in London in 1689 and is also known as the Second London Confession of Faith).  A number of modernised versions of the Confession are available online, as well as editions containing the original text.
