The 2013 Youth Camp saw us back at Camp Bentzon on Kawau Island for another fantastic Youth Camp.

The confidence course and climbing tower were put to good use once again, while raft building, kayaking, sailing and swimming ensured the island location was used to its full advantage. Archery, bivouac building, a quiz night and the camp concert were among the activities for which the teams were awarded points. As always, there was also plenty of time just to sit around and chat with friends.

With ANZAC Day falling on the penultimate day of camp the chosen theme was a military one, and the messages from Mike Beck very appropriately engaged the campers in thinking through different aspects of warring against false religion.

With another great team of leaders and enthusiastic campers we had an excellent week together.
